Netflix Bid to End Texas ‘Dirty Money’ Defamation Case Fails

Netflix Inc. failed to get a defamation case dismissed by the Texas high court Friday, forcing it to face allegations from a Texas woman who says she was made out to be a bad guardian in an episode of “Dirty Money.”

The streaming giant couldn’t convince the Texas Supreme Court to review an appeals court ruling that the show unfairly portrayed her conduct and should’ve given more coverage to misconduct alleged against his girlfriend.
