Nelson Mullins Employs Startup Advisor Mason in Chicago Office

Galen Mason joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough as a partner in its corporate practice group in Chicago, the firm announced Wednesday.

Mason brings nearly 20 years of experience advising companies, founders, management teams, and investors, particularly in emerging enterprises. He guides clients on cap table management and investor equity matters and frequently serves as outside general counsel, providing practical advice at every stage of growth, including company formation, early-stage funding, later-stage financing, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, secondary transactions, and exit events, the firm said.

He joins from Michael Best & Friedrich.
