NBA’s Mavericks Prevail in Texas Business Court Arena Case (1)

The Dallas Mavericks can redeem the interest of the Dallas Stars in the American Airlines Center sports arena, a business court judge ruled, because the hockey team maintained its offices outside the city.

“The evidence conclusively establishes that at all relevant times the Mavericks have complied with this requirement—and the Stars have not,” Judge Bill Whitehill said in a written opinion.
