Navarro Turned Away by Supreme Court on Presidential Records

The US Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal from Peter Navarro, the formerly imprisoned official whom President-elect Donald Trump has tapped to be his senior counselor for trade and manufacturing.

Navarro sought Supreme Court intervention in a clash over records he retained on his personal email account when he served in a similar capacity during Trump’s first term in the White House.
