Jesse Nevarez joined Morrison Foerster as a partner in its emerging companies and venture capital group in New York, the firm announced Tuesday.

Nevarez advises founders, startups, VCs, underwriters, and public companies in the technology, health care, and life sciences sectors on various matters including formations, pre-seed, seed, venture, and growth equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and Securities and Exchange Commission compliance, the firm said.
