New Orleans law firm Morris Bart LLC was ordered by a Houston bankruptcy judge to turn over communications it may have had with a Louisiana federal magistrate judge related to a fee fight in MMA Law Firm’s bankruptcy.
Morris Bart’s objections to answering questions about communications with Judge Michael B. North were overruled at a Friday hearing by Chief Judge Eduardo Rodriguez of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
