Brandon Figg joined Morgan Lewis as a partner in its structured transactions practice in Washington, the firm announced Wednesday.
Figg will advise financial institutions, issuers, arrangers, and underwriters on asset-backed securities, collateralized loan obligations, and other financing transactions. He will also advise securitizations participants on the adoption and implementation of policies and procedures under the SEC’s Conflict of Interest Rule, the firm said.
He joins from the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he was senior special counsel for the division of corporation finance.
