Maarika Kimbrell, who served as director of the Office of New Drug Policy at the US Food and Drug Administration, has joined Morgan Lewis as a partner resident in Washington, D.C., the firm said Thursday.
Kimbrell co-founded and established the Office of New Drug Policy for the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, and served as deputy chief of staff to former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, according to Morgan Lewis.
She will counsel pharmaceutical and biotech companies on regulatory matters, Morgan Lewis said.
