Monex Inc., a foreign exchange and international payment services company, has lost a motion to dismiss claims from its former chief compliance officer that she suffered a hostile work environment that was “unfriendly to female employees.”
The US District Court for the District of Columbia dismissed claims brought by plaintiff Rebecca Reeve against the company and former colleague John Green, alleging violations of the District of Columbia Human Rights Act. Monex’s dismissal motion failed because it isn’t time-barred, wrote Judge Timothy J. Kelly on July 29.
