Miss America Director Asks to Undo Settlement in Ownership Feud

Miss America beauty pageant director Robin Fleming moved to rescind a settlement she reached with a Florida lawyer after he was found to have falsified corporate operating agreements in an ownership dispute that briefly landed the business in bankruptcy.

Evidence that Wellington, Fla., attorney Craig Galle created fraudulent Miss America operating agreements didn’t come to light until after Fleming agreed to confidentially settle claims against him in January, she said in an April 24 filing urging the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida to set aside the deal.
