Mintz Hires Daniel Cowan as Private Equity Member in Boston

Daniel Cowan joined Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo as a member in its private equity team in Boston, the firm announced Monday.

Cowan represents private equity funds, portfolio companies, strategic investors, and asset managers in complex business transactions and general corporate matters, the firm said. He focuses his practice on middle-market deals involving the retail and consumer products, financial services, technology, and health-care sectors.

He joins from Ropes & Gray.
