Yangtze Memory Technologies Co. sought 73 pages of code relating to Micron 3D NAND memory chips after suing the Boise, Idaho, chipmaker in late 2023. Micron’s petition, filed May 27 and made public Thursday, called the request “unprecedented” and beyond what’s allowable under a protective order that puts tight parameters around the information the parties have to trade in discovery.
