A Memphis personal injury law firm must pay an attorney who was once its chief people officer nearly $3.3 million after retaliating against her for raising concerns about pay and other bias, a federal jury decided.
Andrea Jaye Mosby proved the Reaves law Firm violated Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the Equal Pay Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act, the US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee jury said Wednesday following a three-day trial.
