McKinsey Appoints New Legal Leader After Ex-Law Head Departs

McKinsey & Co., the consulting giant that’s battled opioid-related litigation and other legal entanglements in recent years, has elevated a key litigator involved in resolving some of those matters to its top legal job.

Jonathan Slonim, an 18-year McKinsey veteran and former Covington & Burling associate, has been promoted to general counsel after serving as a deputy general counsel and head of Americas legal. McKinsey added a profile of Slonim to its website a month ago identifying him as its new global legal leader, according to archived internet records.
