McKesson Corp. Sheds Retaliation Claim in Religious Bias Suit

McKesson Corp. saw a dismissal in a religious retaliation suit brought by its former employee who failed to exhaust her administrative remedies, a North Carolina federal judge ruled.

Mary Katherine Bir, a former employee of McKesson Medical-Surgical, alleged religious discrimination and retaliation, all in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, when the medical supplies company denied her religious exemption request and ultimately fired her for not complying with their Covid-19 vaccination policy.
