McGuireWoods Recruits Two Capital Markets Partners in New York

Alex Weniger-Araujo and Andrei Sirabionian joined McGuireWoods as partners in its capital markets practice in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.

Weniger-Araujo and Sirabionian have guided more than 100 companies through special purpose acquisition company transactions and business combinations. They counsel clients on reporting requirements, corporate governance matters, stock exchange rules and ongoing securities law compliance, the firm said.

Sirabionian has represented entities in acquisitions and divestitures, spinoffs, joint ventures and “going private” transactions.
