Jay Hughes has rejoined McGuireWoods as a partner in Houston, the firm said Tuesday.
Hughes has experience working with clients on mergers and acquisitions as well as energy transactions and financings with a focus on the oil and gas, power, and renewable sectors, according to McGuireWoods.
He co-chaired the power and renewable energy practice at Willkie Farr & Gallagher. He also previously served as managing partner of McGuireWoods’ Houston office from 2017 to 2020, McGuireWoods said.
