McGuireWoods has hired Michael Podberesky, a former prosecutor in the Justice Department’s civil fraud section, as a partner in its Washington government investigations and white collar litigation practice.
Podberesky is the firm’s at least fourth lateral hire in the government investigations group since last August, when McGuireWoods added former Manhattan federal prosecutor Jason Cowley and former Colorado assistant solicitor general Michael Francisco. The firm hired former Financial Industry Regulatory Authority enforcement attorney Elizabeth Hogan in October.
