Jeff Ehrlich has joined the financial services litigation practice of McGuireWoods as a partner in Washington, the law firm announced Monday.
Ehrlich was appointed the deputy enforcement director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in 2013, as he led the field litigation team for over eight years, according to McGuireWoods. Ehrlich directed over 100 enforcement actions against financial services providers, the law firm said.
Before joining the CFPB in 2011, he was a trial attorney at the Department of Justice, an assistant county attorney in Miami-Dade County, and an associate at Sidley Austin in Washington, according to McGuireWoods.
