McDermott Will & Emery poached seven white-collar litigators from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, the firm announced Thursday.
McDermott’s white collar litigation group grew 34% last year as it anticipates more work in that area, the firm said.
“We see momentum on the horizon for FCPA matters and government investigations, and we’re scaling our practice to leverage these opportunities,” Michael Poulos, partner in charge of the firm strategy, said in a statement.
The newcomers include New York partners Guy Singer, Franklin Monsour Jr., Kelly Newsome and Washington partners Anne Murray, Caitlin Sheard, and Sagar Ravi.
