McDermott Nabs Government Contracts Lawyer for Vice Chair Role

Government contracts lawyer Tara Ward has joined McDermott Will & Emery as vice chair of its practice group in Washington, D.C., the law firm said Friday.

Ward joins from Wiley Rein, where she was a partner in the firm’s D.C. office. She advises contractors on issues related to bid protests, contract claims and disputes, and strategic alliances, McDermott said.

She represents a wide range of companies doing business with the federal government, from emerging tech businesses to well-established defense, professional services, and information technology contractors and subcontractors, according to McDermott.
