McDermott Adds KPMG Tax Partner in London, Plots Further Growth

McDermott Will & Emery has hired a London partner from KPMG as part of an ongoing expansion amid a busy local market.

The law firm Tuesday hired Candice Nichol, a tax partner at KPMG, in what McDermott London managing partner Aymen Mahmoud describes as “an obvious fit.”

Nichol spent almost three years at KPMG as a tax partner on the Big Four firm’s deal advisory team. She works with private equity funds and investors on the structuring of all types of international transactions across all asset classes.
