Steve Knipfelberg joined McDermott Will & Schulte as a partner in its litigation practice group in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.
Knipfelberg advises clients on litigation, regulatory engagement, and strategic legal initiatives on matters involving digital asset trading, market structure, consumer protection, and cross-border enforcement. He helps clients across the digital asset ecosystem navigate complex regulatory frameworks, respond to inquiries from US and international regulators, and manage high-stakes disputes arising in the rapidly evolving crypto markets, the firm said.
He joins from cryptocurrency exchange OKX.
