Mayer Brown Adds Vinita Sithapathy as Corporate Partner (Correct)

Vinita Sithapathy joined Mayer Brown as a partner in its corporate & securities practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Sithapathy represents public and private companies, private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, and other investors on domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and sales of companies and businesses, joint ventures and consortium transactions, private investments, and management rollovers, the firm said.

Her work spans industries like telecom, energy, transportation, concessions, food and agriculture, life sciences, and consumer goods and manufacturing.

Sithapathy joins the firm from Freshfields.
