Chad Richards joined Mayer Brown as a partner in its global energy group in Washington, the firm announced Tuesday.
Richards advises project developers, strategic investors, financial institutions, investment funds and their portfolio companies on energy regulatory matters, focusing on complex transactions and financings. He counsels clients on transaction diligence, structuring, and negotiation to manage regulatory risk and secure required energy regulatory approvals, the firm said.
He joins from Kirkland & Ellis.
