Justin Herring is joining Mayer Brown as a partner in the cybersecurity and data privacy practice as well as the financial services and regulatory enforcement practice and global investigations and white collar defense practice in New York, the firm said Wednesday.
Herring is the former executive deputy superintendent of the cybersecurity division at the New York State Department of Financial Services, according to Mayer Brown.
He will provide representation and counseling on cybersecurity matters, including global incident response, enforcement actions and litigation, cyber monitorships, and regulatory compliance, said Mayer Brown.
