Mayer Brown Hires King & Spalding’s Patel for Private Credit (1)

Mayer Brown hired Sheel Patel, formerly at King & Spalding, as a partner and head of its private credit practice in New York, according to a statement seen by Bloomberg.

Patel will also play a role in the firm’s overall leveraged lending practice, according to the statement. He previously worked as a partner in King & Spalding’s private credit and special situations group.
