Daniel Serota joined Mayer Brown as a partner in its corporate and securities practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.
Serota advises on complex auctions, mergers, stock and asset purchases, hostile offers, joint ventures, proxy contests, and transactions in bankruptcy or with distressed entities. He focuses on financial services, technology, and media and telecommunications industries, advising investment firms and global technology leaders, the firm said.
He joins from Sidley Austin.
