Mayer Brown Adds Ella-Marie Smith as Real Estate Finance Partner

Ella-Marie Smith joined Mayer Brown as a partner in its real estate markets practice in Charlotte, N.C., the firm announced Monday.

Smith focuses her practice on commercial real estate finance, including CRE securitizations and warehouse and repurchase facilities. She advises real estate investment trusts, investment banks, and other financial institutions on CRE CLOs, with a focus on collateral risk assessment and disclosure strategies for complex asset pools, the firm said.

She joins from Dechert.
