Marvel Due $320,000 From Ex-Chair Perlmutter’s Foe, Peerenboom

Marvel Entertainment is owed more than $319,600 for discovery costs it incurred after being drawn into a tort suit against the former head of the company, Isaac Perlmutter, a New York appellate court ruled Thursday.

The trial court “providently exercised its discretion” in granting Marvel’s request for subpoena fees from Perlmutter’s neighbor, Mandrake Management founder Harold Peerenboom, the New York Supreme Court First Appellate Department said in its unsigned opinion.
