Mandelson Appeared to Leak Government Information to Epstein (4)

Documents released by the US Department of Justice appear to show that Britain’s Peter Mandelson leaked sensitive government information to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a minister.

The files suggest Mandelson emailed Epstein about the European Union’s rescue facility for struggling member states, telling him the deal should “be announced tonight.” The emails are dated May 9, 2010. On May 10, European policymakers announced a €500 billion ($590 billion) loan plan, sending the euro on its biggest rally in two years.
