William D’Angelo III has joined Manatt Phelps & Phillips as an entertainment transactions and finance partner in Los Angeles and Orange County, Calif., the firm said Tuesday.
D’Angelo focuses on restructurings, joint ventures, recapitalizations, financings, and private equity transactions for entertainment and media companies, according to Manatt.
He provides advice to startup companies, angel investors, and venture capitalists involved in technology, software, and digital media, and he counsels early- and growth-stage companies on intellectual property protections and licensing, employment matters, corporate governance, and capitalization strategies, Manatt said.
