Lumen Appoints Mark Hacker as Chief Legal Officer, Executive VP

Mark Hacker joined Lumen Technologies as executive vice president and chief legal officer, the firm announced May 12.

Hacker will lead Lumen’s legal and public policy organizations, overseeing legal strategy, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, government affairs, and ethics.

Hacker previously served as general counsel and chief administrative officer of Motorola Solutions. At Motorola, he led high-stakes litigation to protect the company’s intellectual property and built a government affairs presence in Washington, the firm said.
