March 1, 2024, 7:58 PM UTC

Loeb & Loeb is hiring a team of seven partners from Morrison Cohen, the firm announced Friday.

New York based partners Andrew Arsiotis, Stephen Budow, Henry Zangara, Michael Martell, Matthew Friedman and Steven Rockoff will join Loeb & Loeb’s capital markets and corporate division. Michael Barry will join the firm’s advanced media and technology division, expanding its luxury brands practice group.

“Enhancing our platform to capture increased deal activity and to grow in high-value industry sectors, like luxury brands, is an important focus of the firm,” said firm co-chair Mitchell Nussbaum in a statement.

The Loeb & Loeb hires make up the bulk of a mass departure from Morrison Cohen, which said nine partners departed the firm in a statement Friday. Morrison Cohen reported 10% revenue growth last year in the same statement.

Loeb & Loeb has approximately 450 lawyers across eight offices in the United States and Asia. New York-based Morrison Cohen has 130 lawyers, according to its website.
