Michael Torkin joined Linklaters as restructuring and insolvency partner and head of US capital solutions and special situations in New York, the firm announced Wednesday.
Torkin represents companies on liability management, recapitalization, and restructuring transactions, both in and out of court, domestically and internationally, the firm said.
He also advises sponsors, acquirers of distressed businesses, hedge funds, and private equity clients on special situation investments and recapitalization transactions, the firm said.
