Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith founder Bob Lewis is stepping down as chair and the firm is disbanding its executive committee a week after more than 100 attorneys left to form a boutique.
“Recent events” pushed the firm to “change our management team,” co-chairman Bob Smith said in a statement Thursday. The firm will expand its management committee to 13 from nine, hold elections May 9 and pick new leaders, the statement said.
