Two law firms expanded their feud over billionaire Leon Black’s alleged sexual assaults when Wigdor LLP released private emails of Black’s attorney at Quinn Emanuel.
One of the 2021 emails released Wednesday purports to show that Quinn Emanuel managing partner Michael Carlinsky touted Wigdor co-founder Doug Wigdor as the “best plaintiff employment lawyer.”
The email flies in the face of Quinn Emanuel’s view in an Aug. 14 lawsuit filed on behalf of Black. That suit accuses the Wigdor firm of filing “false, life-ruining” lawsuits on behalf of three women that allege the Apollo Global Management co-founder sexually assaulted them.
