CBD-oil seller Lazarus Naturals will pay $300,000 to settle a class action alleging it negligently failed to protect the personal information of more than 42,000 people that was exposed in a 2023 data breach.
Each member of the settlement class will be entitle to a payment of up to $5,000 in reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket losses, or a pro-rata cash payment from the net settlement fund, according to the plaintiffs’ motion for final approval of the deal. Judge
