Latham & Watkins Taps David Brenneman as Merger Control Partner

David Brenneman joined Latham & Watkins as a partner in its antitrust and competition practice in Washington, the firm announced Tuesday.

Brenneman’s practice focuses on the antitrust aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business combinations and collaborations. He defends major transactions before the Justice Department, the Federal Trade Commission, and the European Commission, among other competition law authorities, the firm said.

He joins from Morgan Lewis.
