Latham & Watkins Recruits Kieran Kieckhefer for Bay Area IP Team

Kieran Kieckhefer joined Latham & Watkins as a partner in its intellectual property litigation practice in the Bay Area, the firm announced.

Kieckhefer leads on complex intellectual property disputes from inception through appeal, serving as first chair in patent, trade secrets, breach of employment contract, and Lanham Act cases in federal district courts across multiple jurisdictions. She focuses on high-stakes patent, trade secrets, and copyright litigation across the technology sector, with experience in semiconductor manufacturing, design, and fabrication, computer hardware, robotics and AI, and enterprise and cloud-based software, the firm said.

She joins from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
