Latham & Watkins LLP has snagged Serrin Turner, a federal prosecutor in New York who won the conviction of the founder of black market website Silk Road.
Turner will join the firm’s New York office in late March as a partner in its Litigation & Trial Department. His practice will focus on cybersecurity and data-protection issues, including risk management and government investigations.
Turner said in a statement that he was attracted to Latham because it’s “a global firm with a strong and growing role in cybersecurity law” with a “robust client base spanning diverse markets.”
