Hogan Lovells Hires Former Senate Finance Counsel Mayur Patel

Mayur Patel joined Hogan Lovells as a partner in its international trade and investment practice in Washington, the firm announced Monday.

Patel joins from the Senate Finance Committee, where he served as chief international trade counsel to Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) and the committee’s Republican members.

Patel brings experience shaping US trade policy through his leadership on legislative and oversight initiatives in the Senate. He helped advance and oversee Trump-era trade measures and maintains trusted relationships with senior administration officials and congressional leadership, the firm said.
