CJ Rinaldi has been appointed chief compliance officer of Kraken, the crypto platform said Tuesday.
Rinaldi previously served as chief compliance officer at Blockchain.com, where he built out global compliance frameworks and mitigated compliance risk, according to Kraken.
He has also held the role of chief compliance officer at Deutsche Bank for its swap dealer and US broker dealer as well as head of business line anti-financial crimes compliance, Kraken said.
He also served as senior counsel in the enforcement division of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, according to Kraken.
