KPMG Australia’s New Partner Cohort Half as Big as Year Before

KPMG Australia said Wednesday that it had hired or promoted 52 people to partner in 2024, about half as many as the year before.

The Big Four accounting and consulting firm said in a press release it had promoted 43 people to partner, with another nine outside hires, this financial year. Many of the new partners are consultants in areas including technology and risk services.

KPMG’s Australian arm previously added 96 new partners in the 2023 financial year, according to financial results the firm reported at the time.
