Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear is doling out spring bonuses as high as $25,000 to associates and counsel, as the California-founded firm seeks to reward top talent.
The payouts start at $2,500 for first-year associates with the top awards going to lawyers who have been at the firm at least six years, according to a memo viewed by Bloomberg Law.
Firms use bonuses as a tool to keep high-performing lawyers at the firm and to attract new recruits. Firms handed out a set of special bonuses on top of their typical yearly offerings.
