Kirkland Recruits Kabealo, Sills as National Security Partners

John Kabealo and Evan Sills joined Kirkland & Ellis as partners in its international trade and national security practice group, the firm announced Thursday.

Kabealo presides over complex transactions before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, and the Committee for the Assessment of Foreign Participation in the United States Telecommunications Services Sector. He negotiates national security agreements across industries including telecommunications, defense, semiconductors, cybersecurity, software, infrastructure, energy, technology, and financial services, the firm said.
