Rachel Sheridan, a longtime capital markets partner at Latham & Watkins, has joined rival Kirkland & Ellis, the law firm confirmed Thursday.
Sheridan has represented clients including The Carlyle Group, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Bank of America, according to her recently removed Latham web bio. She served as chair of Latham’s income partner and counsel committee.
Her husband, Paul Sheridan Jr., is the global chair of Latham’s private capital practice and previously chaired its private equity practice.
