Kirkland M&A Lawyer Mohammed Jumps to Fried Frank in DC Office

Saif I. Shah Mohammed joined Fried Frank as a partner in its asset management M&A practice in Washington, DC, the firm announced today.

Mohammed joins from Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a partner for less than three years. He spent nearly 14 years at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, rising to the level of counsel.

Mohammed advises clients on complex corporate transactions, including GP stakes sales, GP-led secondaries, GP and fund-level preferred equity transactions, seeding deals, asset manager mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, firm governance and GP economic arrangements.
