Kirkland ‘Homecoming’ for Versatile Litigator Leaving Latham (1)

A partner in Latham & Watkins’ litigation practice—who helped defend the US Soccer Federation against pay discrimination claims—has returned to Kirkland & Ellis, where he practiced for five years as an associate.

Kuan Huang started Monday as a New York-based partner at Kirkland, following an eight year tenure at Latham & Watkins, Kirkland said Monday.

“We wanted to bring back Kuan since the day he left us,” said Andrew Kassof, a litigation partner at Kirkland who serves on the firm’s executive committee. “Kuan is relentless in finding a way to win, uniquely so, and his on-his-feet trial skills are exceptional.” ...
