Kirkland & Ellis advised Bain Capital Tech Opportunities and private equity firm HGGC on their investment in Buildertrend, a provider of cloud-based construction management software to home builders, remodelers, and specialty contractors across over 100 countries.
Cooley said it advised Omaha, Neb.-based Buildertrend, which called the investment its first from an outside partner. No financial terms were disclosed.
Buildertrend, which claims an average of 45% year-over-year revenue growth since 2015, provides software tools for standardizing scheduling and workflows, handling payments, purchase and change orders, and communicating with customers.
